A DOUBLE and FULL Size are the Same (54"X75")

Select Foam has Full sized, (also known as a memory foam mattress double), in addition to our Natural and Organic Latex models. This is a great size for children who have outgrown their smaller mattresses, and are a good fit in studio apartments. For those over 5'8", we recommend graduating to the Full XL or Queen size.

Latex mattresses tend to be more resilient than memory foam, which tends to mold to your body better. Both have an increased capacity to relieve pressure when compared to traditional innerspring mattresses, though memory foam is the best pressure relieving materiel available today.

Almost all of our beds are available in the Double or Full size. The only models that aren't are the higher end beds, which are generally only available in Queen, King, and California King sizes.

We recommend going with the larger Full XL size, measuring 54" wide by 80" long for children that are expected to grow to a tall height, or for anyone over 5'8". A queen size mattress is also a great option, because few bedroom furniture sets are available in the Full sized width.

What type of foam is best for you?

This is a question we are often asked. If you like the bouncy feel of a spring mattress, than we recommend going with a latex mattress. These are available in both natural and organic types. Natural organic foam mattresses contain mostly organic products, but are put together with processed materials such as unnatural covers, zippers, labels, etc. For the full "Green" experience, we recommend going with the a Full/ Double organic foam mattress. These are constructed with 100% organic materials, and are the healthiest mattresses available. In addition, we take special care to protect the environment and produce our entire organic line in a sustainable nature.

If you enjoy memory foam or need extra pressure relief, our 100% viscoelastic memory foam beds are the perfect option. No material absorbs pressure as effectively as memory foam. Both memory foam and latex foam mattresses are hypoallergenic. You will be amazed at how much cleaner these beds are compared to traditional mattresses, which are susceptible to all types of allergens.
