Core Construction

The Select Foam™ Aurora-HD™ has a luxurious channeled Cashmere Pillow-Top. Within the pillow-top is the 2” thick 8lb Density SELECT-HD™ Memory Foam Comfort Layer. The comfort layer’s job is to conform to and cradle your body’s every curve.

Below the Comfort Layer of the pillow-top sits an additional 2.5” thick 5.3lb density Memory Foam Support Layer. This layer provides pressure relief and support, and provides the extra depth needed by side sleepers and heavier folks. These people often bottom out because their mattresses don’t have the depth they need to properly cradle and adjust to every curve of the body. The Aurora-HD™ has the extra memory foam necessary to keep proper spinal alignment, whether you’re a 95lb back sleeper or a 295lb side sleeper.

To keep you cool and comfortable, we have a sophisticated Channeled Air-Flow layer that runs the entire width of the bed, allowing warm air with the bed to escape.

Below that is the 8” thick Orthopedic Base Layer (also soy-based) that provides the foundation necessary for the memory foam to operate on. Some manufacturer’s use low quality base foam and when it breaks down, you have a mattress with depressions in it.

 Luxurious Cashmere Cover

The Select Foam™ Aurora-HD™ comes with a luxurious Silk/Bamboo Cover. The cover is extremely smooth and naturally whisks away moisture. Its natural breathability helps keep you cool at night. The top portion of the cover may be removed for easy dry cleaning. In addition, you may switch out the type of foam that is in the pillow-top if you choose to.
